The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, fiends, and sinister influences expanding in strength within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The latest chapter finished on a dramatic pause and presented the first table of heroes who will split off from the primary party to begin their separate journey, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table includes Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Given a large ensemble, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

Hence, the initial installments of this story serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.

What Defines the Combat Party

As described by the DM, the combat-focused party is for players who are drawn to a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are scarce.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the events of the third episode show why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the party knows exactly where to go next after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose demise initiated the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, entering the hidden lair, assaulting the rogue, and stealing all the enchanted items to sell off.

The antagonist then settled his liabilities and fled to a secure base in the northern region, beyond the city, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and best friend, desires retribution.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a hostile place.
  • The strong character and The healer, having defied his family’s wishes to kill Teor and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their position as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the group access places they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter pledged a eternal obligation to The savior for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that govern Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and Wicander betrayed the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • Teor is marked for death by House Halovar.

This results in them no alternative but to travel to Timmony in search of Casimir.

What’s Next?

According to the latest episode’s follow-up content, we discover that the combat party won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight players to form the Seekers and Schemers parties.

Fans can anticipate discovering which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on October 24.
